Ad serving by Publisher

Tyroo provides Multiple options to Publishers for Ad serving.There are three modes via which Publisher can request for Ads- SDK,API and Java Script Tags.This document gives an overview of how to serve Ads using three modes of delivery.


How to Register as Publisher on TC


If the publisher is not currently registered on Tyroo Central, he needs to register himself..Access the Tyroo Central website and select Publisher from the Not Registered drop box.Once the Publisher registers himself, request go to Tyroo for verification and approval.Post approval only , a Publisher can run the campaigns.

Enter the contact details of the Publisher and Sign Up. Please select the appropriate platform type – mobile Ap, m-website or web.This should be filled appropriately since depending on this a Publisher can run App,M-website or desktop campaigns. If the publisher has both m-webiste and App, then in that case both the checkboxes should be selected.

Native SDK Implementation

In case the Publisher wants a SDK implementation, he needs to register his App on Tyroo Central.

He can select Add a new App from Mobile -> Manage Apps -> Register New App

Select the requisite details for adding an App and add the App. As soon as the App is registered, a rule gets automatically applied on the App. All the approved campaigns for the Publisher would be automatically selected. The default rule can be modified through the tab Manage Ad Rules.

Before the Publisher registers his App , campaigns should be approved for him, else no Ads will be served.

Most of the Install and PLA campaigns are application type campaigns and hence these campaigns need to be approved beforehand for the publisher.

Publisher needs to apply for the campaigns from the Campaign Tab( How_to_apply_for_a_Campaign).Publisher account Manager can be contacted for approval of campaigns.

Add Rules

The Ad Rules can be added from Mobile -> Manage Ad Rules -> Add Rules

The type of Ad, Number of Ads and the Rule Name should be filled. No of ads regulates the number of Ads that should be served. If the publisher wants to run PLA and App Install campaigns, then both the checkboxes App Install and Product List should be selected.


Once the checkboxes are selected then, the respective campaigns under the chosen offer type should be selected. If none of the campaigns are approved for the Publisher, then in the campaigns drop down, no campaign will be available for selection.

Update Rules

Rules can be updated from Mobile -> Manage Ad Rules -> Select the rule to be updated.

The campaigns which are currently applied on the rule can be changed . Changes must be saved in order to reflect the updated campaigns.

Apply Rules

If a new rule has been created, apart from the default rule that gets auto-applied post the App register process, the new rule needs to be applied to an App. For applying the newly created rule, below steps needs to be followed.
Rule can be applied from Mobile -> Manage Apps -> Apply Rules

The rules that need to be applied for the Apps can then be mapped to the Apps after selecting Apply Rules

How to apply for a Campaign

The Publisher can apply for a particular campaign by going to the Campaigns -> Campaigns mand selecting the appropriate campaign by applying the filters. When he gets the correct campaign he can apply for it by clicking Apply for Access

The campaign will be available for the Publisher after he has been granted access.

M-website implementation

For the m-website implementation Javascript tags need to be integrated.

Create an Adwall

An Adwall can be created from Adwall -> Adwall -> Add New Adwall.

Public Adwall are by default available to any Publisher. They can apply own rules on Public Adwall and use that Adwall for Ad serving

When an Ad wall is created from the Publisher login, then automatically a rule gets applied on the Adwall. All the approved campaigns for the Publisher would be automatically selected. The default rule can be modified through the tab “Manage Ad Rules “.



Before the Publisher registers his App , campaigns should be approved for him, else no Ads will be served. Most of the Install and PLA campaigns are application type campaigns and hence these campaigns need to be approved beforehand for the publisher.

The Publisher needs to provide the following information.

  1. The type Ad Group or Adwall.
  2. Applicability Web or Mobile
  3. Ad Group Type
  4. Size

For Publishers who are running Ads on m-web, they should select the Applicability as “Mobile”. For Mobile, available formats can be chosen from the Formats dropdown.

Formats that are available are

  • Banner 320 by 50
  • Left Swipe
  • Overlay
  • Bottom Slider
  • Embedded Offerwall

In case they want to run particular banner size which are not listed above, they should select the Applicability as “web”. Product Listing Ads cannot be served in case the Applicability is “web”. Only Install campaigns where the particular banner size is available will be served.

Apply Rules on the Adwall

If a new rule has been created, apart from the default rule that gets auto-applied once the Publisher Adwall is created, the new rule needs to be applied to App. For applying the newly created rule, below steps needs to be followed.

The rules can be applied on the Adwall from Adwall -> Adwall -> Apply Rules

The created rule can be applied to the Adwall by selecting the Adwall and applicable rules and clicking on Apply.

Copy and paste the invocation code on m-website.

Go to the tab "Adwall". Find the Adwall that needs to be implemented on m-website and copy the invocation code.

Public API Implementation

If a Publisher has chosen API for Ad serving, then in that case, for Ads to be served, Rule application on Public API is must.
